Gobbledeep: Eat & Grow Fish: Privacy Policy
Summary
This privacy policy applies to Gobbledeep: Eat & Grow Fish ("the app") on Google Play, published by the developer Moon Studio's ("we", "us"). Gobbledeep is a free game supported by ads and optional in-app purchases. We don't ask for your name, email or contacts. Your progress is saved on your device, and to your Google account only if you sign in to Google Play Games. Our advertising and analytics partners may collect some device data, as described below. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first.
Data saved on your device
Your game progress stays on your phone and isn't sent to us: score, pearls, level, owned sharks, settings, missions and achievements. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
Google Play Games (optional)
If you sign in to Google Play Games, your progress is also saved to your Google account (Saved Games) so you can keep it on a new phone, your best score is posted to the game's leaderboard, and your achievements are shown in Play Games. Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy; we don't receive your email or contacts. You can sign out or delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app.
Advertising
We show ads through Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies), which works with ad networks including Unity Ads and Google AdMob. To show, measure and limit ads, these partners may collect:
- your device's advertising ID and basic device data (model, operating system, language, approximate location from your IP address);
- how you interact with ads.
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland a consent form from Google appears before any ads load, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings > PRIVACY & ADS. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Analytics
Outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland we use Unity Analytics to learn how the game is played so we can balance it, for example how long runs last and which features are used. This data is linked to a random analytics ID, not to your identity. Inside the EEA, UK and Switzerland we don't collect analytics.
In-app purchases
Google Play handles all purchases. We never see your payment details. We only receive a receipt so the game can give you what you bought and restore it later.
Children
Gobbledeep is intended for players aged 13 and over. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your rights and contact
You can ask for analytics data linked to your device to be deleted, or ask any question about this policy, by writing to abdelrahman.yehia.ibrahim@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct or object to the processing of your data.
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
